The Editorial Overview for NOW Comic's revamp of RSA. Character: Ralph.

"RALPH"

At the center of Ralph's new life is his wife Bertha, his best friend Johnson, and his employment at Gerg, Inc. Although ther are many influences on his life, these are the main ones. Ralph's relationship with Bertha is very one-side. She totally dominates Ralph and makes his life miserable, but Ralph doesn't question this because he accepts and loves Bertha for the horrible, ol cow that she is. On the other side is Johnson, who thinks Ralph is whipped beyond description. Johnson does his best to persuade Ralph to return with him to the jungles of SouthEast Asia to for MIAs.

Ralph's only reall anchor in life is his family no matter how strange they are. Ralph's relationship with Mortimer Gerg has been previously explored in Vol. 2, issue 8. Gerg is the potentially lethal employer who sees Ralph as the malleable clay in which to mold the perfect slave/employee, but is inevitabley disappointed by Ralph's bungling. Ralph and his co-workers (except Miss Krodsternum) are afraid to quit for fear of an ugly end at the hands of Mr. Gerg. The company's motto isn't "Blind Loyality or Death" for nothing.
